“Lifestyle change” Diet. Couple of questions!?
Question by B L A H!: “Lifestyle change” Diet. Couple of questions!?
Ok I am very overweight and am only 22 years old, I have finally decided to do something about this! I just have a few questions…I will explain what I am doing to diet first
I have started counting calories, I am now eating 1580 or less a day and plan to lower that occasionally (all of the “calorie calculators” I have consulted say I should eat about 2100 a day) and I am exercising on a recumbent stationary bike twice a day for 25 minutes a day, five times a week. So in other words I am exercising 250 minutes a week!
Ok so here are my questions…
1: Should I be burning all of the calories I eat in a day off?
2: Does anyone think that the diet I have started is good enough? Like will result in weight loss?
I have tried googling a lot of this, but I wanted my own personal answers.
I would like to lose AT LEAST 100 pounds, by August of next year, or sooner if possible, but that is my goal date.
Ok guys, thanks for answering! I have the my fitness pal app which keeps track of my calories and exercising. I no longer eat fast food, drink sodas, or eat sweets. I also eat plenty of fruits and veggies, and drink a great amount of water!
@ Michelle, I AM exercising that much a day, I am doing 20 minutes more in fact, I am doing TWO sets of TWENTY FIVE minutes, so that is 50 minutes a day five times a week! But thank you for sharing!
